Moonflower Polish Gemstones Collection

Press  Sample

Hey there!  Today I have a beautiful new collection of polishes upcoming from Moonflower Polish.  Since her August Polish Pickup shade Enchanted Rose was so popular and resulted in requests for more holographic stamping polishes, she's come out with the Gemstones Collection.  They're super pigmented and filled with Spectraflair and other holo particles.  The formulas are thicker than regular polish (since they are designed for stamping) but I find them to be perfectly buttery when using it as regular polish.  This is my favourite collection of hers since the Rainbow Cremes.  Fingers crossed, maybe we can hope for a Part 2 to this collection with even more colors!

For each polish, I swatched two nails as regular polish (at two coats, though one coat could be opaque for many people) and stamped them over a white and black base and topped with Vibrant Vinyls Fast & Hard top coat.  They all stamped like a dream.  All the stamping images are from Lina Nail Art Supplies Feeling Shapely 07.  Also, I took my photos slightly different than how I regularly do.  Since these are holos, I took the top  of my light box off to let more light in.  But to get a better idea of how holographic these polishes really are, I have a direct light photo for each of them as well.

Diamante (Diamond)
Silver holographic
I love it over black!

Oro (Gold)
yellow-toned gold holographic
Gold isn't a gemstone but it gets to be included because it's still bright and sparkly

Aguamarina (Aquamarine)
bright teal/turquoise holographic
Absolutely beautiful color!

Amatista (Amethyst)
bright red-toned purple

Obsidiana (Obsidian)
slightly blue-leaning black holographic
I don't really notice the blue tones.  This is one of truest black holographics I've tried.  It's less grey'ed out than most of the ones I've used.

Stamping Decals

I wanted to see how these would look all together so I made some stamping decals using Obsidiana as the base color AND the stamping color.  The images were filled with the rest of the polishes and applied as decals.  So much sparkle and color!
