Madam Glam Gelementary Review

Press  Sample

Hey there!  This evening have some swatches of Madam Glam's new product line, just in time for back to school.  This collection is called Gelementary, such a clever name but man does autocorrect hate it!  The collection consists of 18 no-lamp gel-like polish creme polishes.  That's right.  While Madam Glam is my go-to gel polish brand, this collection isn't a tradition, need-to-be-cured, gel polish line.  I received 7 of these 5-free, cruelty-free, vegan polishes to show you all today.  They apply really smoothly and dry super shiny.  They're designed  to be long wearing.  I assume the use of the Gelementary top coat and base coat would add to the longevity but I can't speak to that since I did not receive them with these samples.  If any of these strike your fancy (and they really should - who doesn't love a great creme polish?) you can use the code Claws30 to save 30% off your order!  Now let's get to the swatches...and some easy nail art that I did with these.

The application and removal of all these polishes was really easy.  My swatches all have a glossy top coat (HK Girl) added but you can see how glossy they are on their own in the final nail art photos.  I didn't add any top coat to the blobbicure and it's still super shiny.  They all have a perfectly creamy finish so these photos are more for color.  No fancy lights or anything - just my light box with artificial 5K bulbs.

Stamper Marble

The first bit of nail art I did was a stamped marble look.  I used this tutorial from Marine Loves Nail Polish.  She's become one of my favourite YouTubers these days!  I used Forbidden Mini Skirt as the base and then Souvenirs, Forbidden Mini Skirt and Daydream in the marble.  I don't know why Daydream looks SO pink in this photo!

Blobbicure

I first saw this swirly style of blobbicure on @laqvid's Instagram page.  I used Junior High as the base and then did the blogs with Pom Poms, Arabella and Saved By the Bell.  This is the one that has no top coat so you can see how shiny these polishes dry on their own.

I hope you liked these Gelementary swatches as much as I enjoyed playing with them.  I've already used some of them in nail art I've done since them so if you need some new nail art cremes for a good price, especially if you use my Claws30 code to save yourself 30%.  There's even more colors available so if you didn't fancy these ones, there's lots more to browse on the Madam Glam website.
