26 Great Nail Art Ideas - Blobbicure

Hey there!  I'm just popping in quickly today to share the mani I did for this week's 26 Great Nail Art Ideas prompt of blobbicure.  Since I'm really feeling fall colors lately, I did a autumn-toned blobbicure using slightly sparkly polishes.  I'm pretty sure any blobbicure I've tried in the past has been with all cremes.  The sparkle is kinda nice.

UberChic Beauty Pretty In Plaid Stamping Plate

Press  Sample

Hey there!  Today I have one of the brand new plates from UberChic Beauty and it's an instant favourite for me.  This is the Pretty In Plaid stamping plate.  Right before she had  released this plate, I did a plaid mani for an upcoming challenge but I had to search for a plate (out of about the bazillion plates that I have) that was even decent.  Then this one came and blew the one I had used away.  It's perfect for anyone craving plaid nails of any sort.  Even though I just received this, I've already done four designs with it.  That should give some indication of how much I like it...

My Mani Box May and June 2018 Review

Press  Sample

Hey there!  Today I have a look at what the nail art subscription box, My Mani Box, has to offer.  The boxes I'm checking out today were from May and June of this year so they've moved on since them but it should give you an idea of what kind of products you could receive.  There's always 2 MoYou London plates (you just let them know if you prefer the regular size or the XL size), indie polish and/or nail art and stamping accessories.  May's theme was Dinosaurs and June's was Passport to Polish.  You can see in the photos below what items came with each box and how much fun I had with them.  The next theme appears to be Fantastic Beasts.  Having just re-read the Harry Potter series this summer, that sounds like a good one to me!

Nail Crazies Unite - Food & Drink

Hey there!  Sorry I disappeared for a week.  I don't even have an excuse other than pure laziness.  But I'm popping in today to post my nails for this week's Nail Crazies Unite prompt of Food/Drink.  I do fruit-themed nail art a lot it seems but I don't usually embrace many other times of food on my nails.  But this week I changed that AND got to use a stamping plate a bought forever ago and never used.  So here's my delicious food nails.  Seriously, reading them is making me hungry.

The Digit-al Dozen does Recreating Your First Blog Posts - Layered Fire Stamping

Hey there!  We've come to the end of The Digit-al Dozen's week of recreating our first blog posts.  Since it's also 26 Great Nail Art Ideas day for Fire and/or Ice nails, I decided to combine them by redoing the first fire nail stamping I tried.  However I made some appropriate modifications as you'll see below...

The Digit-al Dozen does Recreating Your First Blog Posts - Fall Leaves Jelly Stampwich

Hey there!  Today we have a last minute addition to the lineup for the week of "first blog post" re-creations.  I had some done a marbled mani for today but it was rubbish compared to the original so I found a different old design to redo.  This is a jelly stampwich, which is the nail world means that it's stamping images sandwiched between layers of jelly polish.  I think they give great depth to the nails.  I hope you agree!

The Digit-al Dozen does Recreating Your First Blog Posts - Towel Stripes

Hey there!  Continuing with this week's Digit-al Dozen theme of recreating our first blog posts, I decided to re-do a mani with one of the most random inspirations.  It was originally inspired by my sister's towel, of all things.  I loved the color scheme and I love stripes so naturally I wanted to make nail art like this.  I even still have the towel, 5 years later, though it's a bit more faded and well worn than it used to be...

The Digit-al Dozen does Recreating Your First Blog Posts - Brushstrokes with Negative Space Stamping

Hey there!  It's Day 2 of The Digit-al Dozen's week of recreating our first blog posts.  Today I did another early favourite of mine.  It was a jewel-toned brushstroke mani (which kinda looked like crap on its own) which I saved with some negative space stamping.  I'd be willing to bet this was the first negative space stamping I ever did.  I wouldn't have even have had a name for it back then.  It was love at first stamp.  I still love negative space so darn much!

The Digit-al Dozen does Recreating Your First Blog Posts - Night Sky Nails

Hey there!  It's time for a brand new Digit-al Dozen week.  September marks the 6th anniversary of the beginning of The Digit-al Dozen's creation (though none of us current members are original) so it's sort of fitting that this month we're going back in time and recreating our first blog posts.  I went back through my first 6 months (give or take) of blog posts and found some that I wanted to re-do.  I like to think my photos are a little better now but I still do like my original manis.  Actually I like some of the originals better than my recreations.  Today I wanted to redo a night sky gradient that I did almost 5 years ago when I noticed how short our days had become.  I'm noticing that already this year even though it's only September.  It's amazing how quickly our seasons change here...we might even get snow this week!

UberChic Beauty Lovely Leaves 3, Halloween 4 and Puff & Stamp Tool

Press  Sample

Hey there! I'm back today with a look at a few of the new products available from UberChic Beauty.    A week ago she released some brand new fall plates, Lovely Leaves 3 and Halloween 4 and, not long before that, she put out some new nail art tools.  Last week I shared a mani I had done with the Striper Brush and this week two of the manis used the Dual-Ended Puff & Stamper.  Like I said in my last blog post, fall has hit my city so the new Lovely Leaves plate comes right in time.  It's a bit early for Halloween but I love that she released them early to make sure you can have the plate come Halloween-season.

Nail Crazies Unite - Inspired By Fall Fashion

Hey there!  Today's Nail Crazies Unite theme is pretty appropriate for the weather we've been having in Edmonton.  The prompt is Inspired By Fall Fashion and it's certainly turned to fall here.  Practically overnight it got chilly and the leaves started turning.  I'm not ready to say goodbye to summer yet but it seems like I might not have a choice.  So I guess it's time to embrace autumnal nails starting with these (which are actually my current mani since I just did them last night).  I'm not much into fashion but when I think of fall I think of jeans and sweaters so that's what I did.

Hit The Bottle Fantasy Feathers Multichrome Swatches and Review

Press  Sample

Hey there!  Tonight I have one of my favourite brands, Hit The Bottle (available internationally from the US distributor Beautometry who provided me with these samples), but with a little something different from what they normally do.  I've known Michelle online from her blogging days when she decided to start making stamping polish.  And she does make AMAZING stamping polish but she's branched out into regular polish for this Fantasy Feathers multichrome line of polishes.  They prove to me she certainly isn't just a stamping expert.  These polishes were pretty flawless to work with.  Now onto the swatches...

Maniology @sweetfactionnails Rub-On Nail Decals

Affiliate Code

Hey there!  I'm popping in on a Saturday to quickly share a product from Maniology that isn't a stamping plate.  I'm certainly a fangirl of their stamping plates but they do make other nail art products as well!  Today's mani was all done with their @sweetfactionnails Rub-On Nail Decals.  Keep reading to find out what rub-on decals actually are.  Maniology is the only company I've come across that makes them and they're really fun!
