Hey there!  Oh should I say Aloha since I'm currently enjoying my Maui vacation.  Everyone else is getting a good night's sleep to prepare for our Road To Hana trip tomorrow (which, as far as I understand it, is a full day drive around the island).  I get crazy motion sickness but I put an anti-motion sickness patch behind my ear and have a purse full of drugs so I'm hoping I won't be getting sick on the side of the road tomorrow.  But before that, I have another My Mani Box review for everyone.  My Mani Box is Beautometry's nail art subscription box, always with an indie polish, 2 MoYou London plates and more.  This box was packed with goodies.  Let's take a look!

UberChic Beauty Mini St. Patrick's Day Stamping Plates

Hey there!  I know, I know, it's only February 5th so what am I doing showing St. Patrick's Day nails already?  Well, I do this for you guys, haha!  I was recently sent the brand new UberChic Beauty St. Patrick's Day 02 plate AND the original St. Patrick's Day plate which I didn't get last year and I figured it'd be a good idea to post them early in case anyone wanted to snatch them up in time for the big day this year.  For those of us outside of the US, packages can take a while to get to us so it's best to order early.  These are both mini plates, meaning they're a 6 x 12 cm plate so there's fewer images than her larger plates but the images are still a full sized 17 x 21 mm.  And the etching is still as wonderful as any of her other plates!  So here comes the green and gold manis (with one exception)!

Hey there!  As I said yesterday, I'm back tomorrow with more stamping manis!  I loved this plate from Maniology as soon as I saw it.  This is an artist collaboration plate with Just A Girl and Her Nails, plate M005.  It's got flowers, mermaid, space, peace and calmness all on one plate.  What more could you ask for?  Well if you asked for it to also stamp great, you get your wish because this plate was flawless.  The only issue I had was that I was wearing one of these mani's the night my camera broke so I had to wear it for extra time until I got the new camera.  In case you can't tell, that was sarcasm and I was way more than happy to wear my mermaid mani for an extra day!  If this plate appeals to you, don't forget to use the code COPY10 to save yourself some moolah!

My Mani Box May and June 2018 Review

Hey there!  Today I have a look at what the nail art subscription box, My Mani Box, has to offer.  The boxes I'm checking out today were from May and June of this year so they've moved on since them but it should give you an idea of what kind of products you could receive.  There's always 2 MoYou London plates (you just let them know if you prefer the regular size or the XL size), indie polish and/or nail art and stamping accessories.  May's theme was Dinosaurs and June's was Passport to Polish.  You can see in the photos below what items came with each box and how much fun I had with them.  The next theme appears to be Fantastic Beasts.  Having just re-read the Harry Potter series this summer, that sounds like a good one to me!

UberChic Beauty Edge Perfection and Bottoms Up Stamping Plate Review

Hey there!  It always makes me happy with UberChic Beauty releases new products.  She recently came out with a Bottoms Up stamping plate with all kinds of drink images and a new polish barrier called Edge Perfection, that I have used for every mani I've done since receiving it.  I got way too excited when I saw the Bottoms Up plate which tells me I might need to re-evaluate my love of beer.  But it's not just beer on this plate.  It has coffee, wine, tropical drinks and more.  We all need to consume liquid to survive so we might as well wear it on our nails too, right?

Bundle Monster Botanicals Collection

Hey there!  I'm back today with another stamping plate review.  The Bundle Monster Botanicals Collection is perfect for spring but absolutely not your typical spring collection.  The surest sign of spring to be is the plants coming back to life after a winter under the snow (at least that's the case here) and this collection is dedicated to all things plants.  The images lean more towards the realistic than the cartoon-ish.  There's some of the prettiest florals I've ever seen on stamping plates here.  So pretty, in fact, that I couldn't resist doing two reverse stamping manis which definitely turned out to be my favourites.  I do love me some colourful nail art!

UberChic Beauty Collection 23 and Love & Marriage 04 Review including GIVEAWAY!

Hey there!  Let me start off by saying today's post includes a giveaway!  Did that get your attention?  I was sent UberChic Beauty's Collection 23 and Love & Marriage 04 plate to review and a little mix up resulted in me receiving two of each...possibly because Brittany was just days away from her first baby (congratulations Brittany!!).  So Brittany's pregnancy brain is good for you guys since there's a giveaway for the extra plates at the end of this post.  I hope the new man in her life lets her keep designing plates because these latest ones are awesome!  They're really everything I love about UberChic plates.  The images are big enough for most people (17 x 21 mm) but designed so most of them work for those of us with smaller nails, the etching is wonderful and there's such a fun mix.  I really like the layered image options in these plates, even if I'm still not great at actually lining them up.  Keep reading to see all the details for my manis and to get to the Rafflecopter to enter to win the plates for yourself.

Bundle Monster Rub On Halloween Decals

Hey there!  Today I have a product that I've never tried before from Bundle Monster.  Did you know that rub on decals are a thing because I sure didn't!  I remember using rub transfers when I was a child but never fathomed that I'd be using them on nails one day.  It turns out that Bundle Monster has a few sets of these rub on decals.  I got to try the Halloween rub on decals.  While I'll probably always love stamping the most, these were really fun to play with.  It was like reliving childhood!

Hey there!  I'm once again late with my nail challenge post this week.  I had a super fun, super busy weekend spent with lots of sun and friends.  This week's Nail Crazies Unite theme was Nautical .  I actually have two nautical nail art looks that I've done recently using Whats Up Nails products.  In the first I used the Anchor Stencils and in the second I used four products: Rainforest Magic Shifting Powder, Waves Stencils, Dolphins Stencils and Holographic Powder (previously reviewed here).  If you've read my blog at all in the last few months, you already know I'm a giant fan of their vinyls and their powders so I use them every chance I get.  I particularly love when I get to combine them.  There's lots of photos here so I'll get right to it!

Hey there!  Today I'm reviewing a product that I've never tried before - the acrylic stamping plates from Cici & Sisi.  I first purchased from Cici & Sisi years and years ago when I bought their first two collections.  Even back then, their quality was on point so I was excited to try these acrylic plates out.      And they've also ventured into the world of layered stamping images which are always fun.  In today's review I have two of these layered stamping plates (Flowers 02 and Mandala 01) and one regular plate (Wedding Season 02).

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Autumn

Hey there!  Today's nail art theme is Autumn so I hope you're not sick of fall nails just yet.  I'm still enjoying them because, as long as I'm wearing fall manis on my nails, it means there's no snow on the ground.  I used the theme as an opportunity to use a new polish Femme Fatale polish that even has Autumn in the name AND to use the layered stamping image from UberChic Beauty's Lovely Leaves plate that has been so darn popular and rightfully so.

Hey there!  Today's review post is a big one.  Nicole from It Girl Nail Art,  sent me two of her latest stamping plates (IG110 and IG112) to try out, as well as two of her new cuticle oils and stamping polishes.   It Girl Nail Art is an indie company based out of Tacoma, Washington, USA and their products have always been of the highest quality so it's nice to see her branching out into areas other than stamping plates.  These new products are also great but, in particular, the cuticle oil fantastic.  I finished one already and am now looking at buying some more in some new scents.  Keep reading to get all the details on the new products as well as some info on how I did my manis that you see below.

Emily de Molly Stamping Plate Review

Hey there!  I feel like I've had no time for nail art lately so I'm so happy to bring you a post full of stamping.  Awhile ago Hayley from Emily de Molly contacted me asking if I'd like to review a few of her stamping plates.  I'm a long time Emily de Molly fan, both of her polishes and her plates, so of course I jumped at the chance.  I was sent four plates to try out and, not surprisingly (since I already knew her plate quality is fabulous), they were all great.  I played with them each a bit and came up with the 5 manis you see below.  I even got to use a few of the Emily de Molly polishes I have in my stash which served to remind me how much I like them too.

The Digit-al Dozen does Whimsy - Mermaids

Hey there!  It's time for a new Digit-al Dozen week and we have a doozy of a theme - Whimsy.  I can't even tell you how much time I spent googling what whimsy could mean and never really got a satisfying answer.  But I settled on it meaning anything playful, fun or odd so I did a bit of everything this week.  I couldn't get mythical creatures out of my head when I thought of whimsy so I did a lot of them starting with today's mermaids.  I never get sick of mermaid nail art and I went all out on these ones...glitter with lots of stamping and bling!  It's maybe a bit much but I'm rarely one for subtlety.

Hey there!  I know it's pretty late at night for a Sunday stamping post but I have two hours left in Sunday so why waste the mani I did this week.  This week's theme was a pretty simple one - over a blue base.  And I did some simple stamping to go along with it. 

Sunday Stamping - Inspired by your phone case

Hey there!  It's almost 4 am here but I'm not quite ready for bed so I thought now would be a good time to write a late night Sunday Stamping post.  This week's theme is "inspired by your phone case".  This was a difficult one for me since my phone case is already made of nail polish.  I completely stole the idea from Nail Gun XS and used Femme Fatale nail polishes to make a glitter rainbow on a cheap clear plastic case.  .  So for the stamping all I could really do was add the scratches that my case has now.

Hey there!  Today I have some swatches that I received from the Australian polish maker and distributor, Femme Fatale.  I've been a long time fan of their glitter/jelly polishes so it was really exciting to try out some of their holographics as well and I must say, I'm impressed.

Femme Fatale Wolfsbane Swatch & Review

Hey there!  I'm so excited tonight!  Darling Diva Polish shared a picture I posted on her Facebook today and it got lots of likes and even a few shares.  It's nice to see that there's people who love polish like I do :-)

Anyways, today I want to show you Wolfsbane by Femme Fatale, another Aussie indie brand.  It's a neat purple (dark blurple?) jelly base filled with blue hexes of different sizes, small red hexes and the occasional light blue crescent moon.  Here is one coat over OPI Euro Eurso plus topcoat to smooth it out.
