Whats Up Nails A011 and B021 Fall Stamping Plates

Press  Sample

Hey there!  I have so many fun Whats Up Nails goodies to show you in the next couple weeks.  They have lots and lots of fall and halloween themed stencils and stamping plates so I thought I better get them all posted ASAP so you guys have time to play with them while it is the season.  I'm starting with a couple of their autumnal stamping plates because, let's be honest, stamping is my true nail love!  Here I have A011 and B021 stamping plates.  I promise there's a lot more to these plates than just leafy images but I was in a real fall leaves mood when I was playing with these.  I also used the Suntan Magic Shifting Powder as a base for my first mani here so I have some pictures of that on its own as well (and a comparison to Sunset) for anyone who's been wondering how it looks.  Be sure to keep reading to see the other fall images they have!

Celestial Cosmetics & Color4Nails Holographic Stamping Polish Review

Press  Sample

Hey there!  It's been over a week since I got a blog post up...miss me?  I thought I could blog from my vacation but after spending $200 in data charges to just get a couple posts up, I pretty much gave up.  But I'm back home now and, most importantly, back to my little corner of the internet.  I decided to get back at it by bringing you some swatches I did on my vacation....which means I could catch the Celestial Cosmetics + Color4Nails' new stamping polishes with all their holographic sparkle!  Check them out!  These were released a couple weeks ago on Color4Nails but I just checked and they're all still available.  Woohoo!

UberChic Beauty Unicorn Love, Texture-Licious 2 and a brand new Uber Mat

Press  Sample

Hey there!  To finish off the work week I thought I'd share some of the latest releases from my stamping crush, UberChic Beauty.  2 weeks ago they released a two new collections, a Unicorn Love single plate, a new Texture-Licious mini plate and a brand new Uber Mat!  That's a massive release!  Unfortunately, I received them the same weekend as my veggie slicing incident so my review has been a bit delayed.  But I will tell you that I was so excited to play with them though that these were, in fact, the first manis I did after trying to cut my thumb in half.  So, finally, I'm sharing my thoughts on everything except for the collections.  I currently wearing my first collection 16 mani so hopefully my review of the collection will be coming soon.

The Digit-al Dozen does Color Contrasts/Nail Crazies Unite does Fall Foliage

Hey there!  Hooray, my new plates from Clear Jelly Stamper were waiting for me when I got home last night so I could re-do my red/green Digit-al Dozen mani combined with Nail Crazies Unite prompt of Fall Foliage.  I had done one with vinyls (I'll post a pic at the end) but it looked sloppy.  I had ordered CJS's Sunflower & Leaves plate and it came just in time for me to whip these up last night.  It's a rare occasion that I'm posting on the internet what it currently on my hands.  Sadly I did not manage to avoid the Christmas-feel with the red and green.  I should've known better than to pair them with gold!

Celestial Cosmetics Valyrio Collection

Press  Sample

Hey there!  I'm so late with this post.  The Valyrio Collection from Celestial Cosmetics was released in April.  Celestial Cosmetics is a 3-free, cruelty-free brand out of Australia but all the polishes in this collection were designed by another Aussie, the lovely Christine from one of my favourite blogs, Serenity Nails.  Game of Thrones was the inspiration for this collection, an obsession that Christine and I share.  I'll leave it to her swatch post to describe the inspirations polish-by-polish.  Needless to say they came up with some great polishes to go with their namesakes.

The Digit-al Dozen does Rainbows - Holo Rainbow Stamping Decals

Hey there!  Happy hump day!  Now normally I wouldn't use the term hump day but when I asked my sis which mani I should post today, she picked these "because it's hump day and these are humps".  I personally see them as rainbows, not humps, but I see where she's coming from.  These holographic rainbows were inspired by the first example I ever saw of someone making stamping decals.  I don't have an exact link but I know they came from Fab Ur Nails and they blew my mind!  They were also holographic rainbows and I'm forever in debt to them for showing me this awesome technique.  Since they were made with all holographic polishes I took all my pics in direct light so they look a bit different than usual.

Celestial Cosmetics Color4Nails Exclusives and March LE

Press  Sample

Hey there!  Today I have swatches of three Celestial Cosmetics polishes, two of which are exclusive to Color4Nails.  Color4Nails has introduced me to a lot of great brands and Celestial Cosmetics is definitely one of them.  This indie brand from Australia makes hand-mixed, 5-free, cruelty-free polishes of great quality.  I might be mistaken but Celestial Cosmetics was the first brand that I was aware of that did a Color4Nails exclusive collection (The Seven Kingdoms collection, way back in 2013).  I purchased some of those back then and I continue to enjoy the Celestial/C4N collaborations.  Celestial Cosmetics also does monthly limited edition polishes that Color4Nails stocks and, although it is May, today I have a swatch of March's LE polish.

Celestial Cosmetics Rainbows & Unicorns Swatches and Review

Press  Sample

Hey there!  Today I have swatches of Celestial Cosmetics' new collection, Unicorns and Rainbows, currently available at Color4Nails.  These five shades were recently released and, in all honesty, the collection couldn't have a better name.  These are all holographic polishes (hence the rainbows part of the collection name) and, with the exception of Unicorn Fields, they're all pastel and shimmery and have an ethereal feel that really does feel like a world unicorns would live in.  Now, let 's get to all the details...

UberChic Beauty Stamping Plate Review - UC 1-01

Press  Sample

Hey there!  I'm so excited for tonight's post.  I'm showing you some of the newest stamping plates on the market.  These new plates come from UberChic Beauty and, spoiler alert, they're fantastic!  I was sent all 6 of their plates to review, along with their scraper and Magic Dust (more on that will be coming in a later post).  I have spent days playing with these plates and have already come up with quite a few mani's that I adore so I've decided that I'll be sharing a mani from each plate over the next 6 days rather than just breeze over each plate in one big post.  So keep reading to see all the details on UC Plate 1-01.

Celestial Cosmetics Bon Temps Collection Swatches

Press  Sample

Hey there!  I have a brand new collection to share with you guys today.  The Bon Temps collection is a collaborative effort between the Australian indie brand, Celestial Cosmetics, and the U.S. distributor Color4Nails that is based on one of my all-time favorite TV Shows, True Blood.  I do love the collaborations between these two companies.  First there was the Seven Kingdoms collection then the Electric You collection and now this collection of shimmery, vampy polishes that is perfect fall and winter.

Holographic Butterfly Stamping Decals

Press  Sample

Hey there!  I recently reviewed the Electric You collection from Celestial Cosmetics and Color4Nails.  I told you then that I knew I'd be playing with these guys a lot and this is the first result of said playing.  I thought bright holographics and butterflies would make a great combination so I made some stamping decals.

Celestial Cosmetics Electric You Collection

Press  Sample

Hey there!  Celestial Cosmetics and Color4Nails have, once again, come up with an AMAZING collaboration collection.  This is the Electric You collection, a collection of holographic neons.  Yes, you heard me, neon holos!  Two of my favourite qualities a nail polish can have together at last.  I should apologize for disappearing for a few days.  I ran away to the lake for the weekend but, luckily, right before I left I received this collection and I could not wait to try them out.  So these swatches come to you from beach side in the Alberta sun.

Celestial Cosmetics Review

Hey there!  I'm back!!  I've missed you guys!  It's been almost 2 weeks since my last post thanks to my laptop deciding that it wanted to have its final resting ground be in Hawaii...very stressful!  I've become very good at googling computer issues.  At the moment I have a band-aid on it until I get a new one so I thought I'd write up a post while I can.

Tonight I have polishes from the Australian indie brand, Celestial Cosmetics, that I recently received for review from the lovely Sisi at Color4Nails.  As usual, Celestial doesn't fail to impress...

Dragon Nail Art - Part 2

Hey there!  As promised, I have the second of two dragon looks that I wore last week.  For this one, I used a polish that comes from a collaboration between Celestial Cosmetics and Color4Nails, Mother of Dragons.  With a name like that, of course I had to add some dragons!
