Maniology Pineapple Whip Stamping Starter Kit

Affiliate Code

Hey there!  Today I have a look at one of the newer stamping kits from Maniology.  Occasionally they come out with these "stamping starter kits" which are great for starters since they come with a stamper but they're also great for us veterans because it's sort of like a mini Mani X Me box.  You get polish and a plate and who doesn't need an extra stamper (especially if you like doing reverse stamping so you can do them all at once)?  This is the Pineapple Whip Starter Kit.  Since Maniology is based in Hawaii, there's often a bit of a pineapple feel to them...probably because they often include pineapple-flavored gummy candy in orders which just so happen to be the most delicious candy ever invented.  It just made sense for them to make a whole pineapple-themed kit!  Now normally I'd say use the code COPY10 to save yourself 10% (which you can do on any regular priced Maniology order) but it's currently on sale for for only $15 USD (regular $24 USD) which is almost 40% off so if this interests you, I'd say jump on it now while it's on sale.

Moonflower Polish Gemstones Pt. 2 Swatches

Press  Sample

Hey There!  Today I'm having a look at Moonflower Polish's Gemstones Pt 2 collection.  I previously reviewed the first Gemstones collection way back in October (that post can be found here) and loved them so I'm so happy she came out with a new set to expand the color line.  I have found Moonflower's stamping polishes to be spot one, especially when you're looking for something outside of cremes.  She has really mastered the formula for putting enough holo or shimmer in her polishes for the sparkle to show while also having enough color that not everything gets silver-ed out.  I also really like using them as regular polish.  They apply easily and opaquely, perfect for the person on the go.

My Mani Box - Stained Glass (February 2019)

Press  Sample

Hey there!  Today I'm sharing a few looks I did with an older My Mani Box from Beautometry.  My Mani Box is a subscription nail art box that you can order monthly or for 3, 6, or even 12 months.  Each month's box contains 2 MoYou London stamping plates (you pick regular or XL sized), a stamping accessory plus more.  I've generally found that they usually contain at least one indie polish and they've all been lovely.  February's box theme was Stained Glass.  Let's take a look at it.

Maniology Mani X Me Box - June 2019

Affiliate Code

Hey there!  Happy Monday everybody!  Today I'm sharing my look at this month's Maniology Mani X Me Box, Memphis Mod.  The Mani X Me Box is a monthly subscription box with 2 plates, 2 stamping polishes (which can also be used as regular polish) and an extra.  That being said, you can opt out any month or just buy month by month so it's not a huge commitment.  But if you're not someone who has accumulated a big stash of stamping polishes, it's a great way to build your collection at a very reasonable cost.  I'll be honest, when I first saw this month's preview, I wasn't fully sold on it but when I did these manis last week, I kinda fell in love with it.  The polishes are perfect for summer and the plates encourage some fun geometric looks.  Plus, the pineapple plate holder is absolutely adorable.  If this (or any other Maniology products) interests you, please use the code COPY10 to save yourself some money!

The Digit-al Dozen does Vacation - Stormy Tropics

Hey there!  It's the last day of The Digit-al Dozen's Vacation week.  For the last hurrah, I have a result that was quite different than the intent.  I thought I'd be getting a calm, sunny tropical mani but what I got ended up looking like a storm!  Let me know if you see the same as me.  To me it looks like water, trees and lightning...though that could just be my fear of lightning that's making me see it.

UberChic Beauty Summer Ready Holos and Stamping Gel Polish

Press  Sample

Hey there!  I've been blogging for UberChic Beauty since she first released stamping plates but now she's expanded into the polish world, with both a line of Summer-Ready Holos gel polish AND stamping gel polish.  That's right...gel polish that stamps!  I often see people asking if there's stamping gel polish and now I can have a recommendation for them.  I could be wrong but, as far as I know, this is the first of its kind.

Edit: I just noticed I must have pressed Publish when I was putting this post together last night instead of "Save"...I hope no one had actually looked at it yet!  It's all fixed now!

The Digit-al Dozen does Vacation - My Hawaii Nails

Hey there!  For today's Digit-al Dozen Vacation mani, I decided it'd be a good time to post the mani I actually wore went I went on vacation this year.  I only go on a real vacation every 5 years so when I do, deciding what to put on my nails is STRESSFUL.  Am I alone in that?  I don't know why I get so stressed since I always bring other polish and change it when I'm away but I guess it's hard for me to decide on something that I know will be on my nails for at least the first few days.  For my Hawaiian vacation this year, I decided to use an old Maniology (then Bundle Monster) plate that was put out in a Polynesian bundle with the islands of Hawaii in the shape of flowers.

The Digit-al Dozen does Vacation - Camping Nails

Hey there!  For Day 3 of The Digit-al Dozen's Vacation week, I did a vacation idea that so many people I know love...camping.  Personally I haven't slept in a tent or even a camper in close to 20 years.  I will always choose the comfort of a bed over the ground but that's just me...

The Digit-al Dozen does Vacation - Live Love Lake

Hey there!  It's the second day of The Digit-al Dozen's Vacation Week and, since I tend to spend all my vacation time at the lake, I really wanted to do some slightly less tropical nails.  A couple weeks ago my sister and I did a sign painting night and I think one of the phrases you could paint was "Live Love Lake" and I thought I could get that on my nails.  But of course there wasn't a stamping plate with just the word "lake" so I tried to improvise....and failed.  I do love the lake but it turns out it was impossible for me to turn the word love into lake without creating this mess!  Other than that one word though, I did like this mani.  Apparently I just need to convince a plate maker to throw the "Lake" onto a plate so I can do this again, properly!

The Digit-al Dozen does Vacation with UberChic Beauty Beach Please and Modern Tropical

Press  Sample

Hey there!  It's time for a new Digit-al Dozen week!  This month our theme is Vacation and, since when I think of vacation, I think of tropical destinations which fits perfectly with two new plates from UberChic Beauty that I received to review.  The last package I received contained a bunch of wrapped up surprise plates to be opened and revealed on certain days.  On May 29th, she released these two plates, Beach Please and Modern Tropical.  And this week there will be a new plate everyday.  How fun!  In addition, she has recently released some gel polish including stamping gel polish which is what I used for all the stamping today.  I do have swatches of each as well but I haven't gotten them up yet.  Hopefully that'll be up tomorrow in case you wanted to have a look at everything on its own as well.

Lina Nail Art Supplies Stamping Polish and Fearless Top Coat Review

Press  Sample

Hey there!  I hope everybody is having a lovely week.  Today I'm sharing some playing I did last week with Lina Nail Art Supplies recent release of stamping polishes and top coat.  She's been making amazing stamping plates for awhile now and I'm pleased to report that she's done a great job with her stamping polish line as well.  The Queen Of Carnival collection is a set of 5 vibrant metallic stamping polishes inspired by Mardi Gras.  In addition to those 5, she more recently released a black stamping polish and top coat that are formulated to work well with powders, foils and more.  Overall these are really welcome additions to my collection!
