The Digit-al Dozen does TV Shows - The Good Place

Hey there!  Like yesterday, it's time for another post about a TV show I live for but couldn't come up with decent nail art for.  The Good Place is super duper.  It's funny and light but oh, so smart.  I don't know how a show about the afterlife and ethics is this fun but it is.  Since it's easily digestible (you can watch an entire season in about 4 hours in a good Netflix binge), I've actually gotten a few people to watch it and they all like it too.  That makes me so happy!  No one ever takes my recommendations... despite the fact that I clearly having amazing taste in TV.

This is the opening shot of the show.  "Welcome!  Everything is fine."  I think that'd be rather comforting.

Having already done some crazy yellow/blue chevron nails based a scene in the show. I didn't know how else to do this show.  So I simply wrote those words.  I say simply but this was so frustrating.  I tried to stamp them (which was complete rubbish) so I eventually just painted them in Mundo de Unas Avocado over a base of KBShimmer How You Dune, Eyes White Open, My Life's Porpoise and Color Club Muse-ical.   And finished with Vibrant Vinyls You Matte-r top coat.

One funny side effect of trying to do these was that I felt I had completely lost my ability to spell.  When only painting a few letters at a time, it seemed like "Welcome" became the most complicated word in the English language!

That's the end of day 4.  I promise, to make up for my limited freehand skills over the last two days, I'll be back tomorrow with TWO half decent manis for my final TV show pick.  It's not the best show on TV but it's great for nail art!  For now, check out what the other DD members did for today in the links below.

'Til next time...
