26 Great Nail Art Ideas - Black Base

Hey there!  Holy man I've been absent.  Between my sadness about last week and then working and babysitting throughout my entire long weekend, I fell way behind on my blog.  I hope that this upcoming week will be better since it's a new Digit-al Dozen week!  In the meantime, I figured I should post this week's 26 Great Nail Art Ideas look, even if I'm a couple days late.  Our theme was "Black Base", easy enough right?  I was wearing this black from Kokie Cosmetics Rapid Gel line called Dark Room (hopefully I can get the review of it up this week) and decided to bust out the foils.  I saw quite a few girls did foils.  I love that so much of us went in the same directions...

Like I said, my black base was Kokie Cosmetics Dark Room.  It's a two coater black with a good formula.  I then painted most of the nail with foil glue and waited for it to become clear.

I then randomly patted on pieces of different colors of foil from Dollar Nail Art.  I used pink, gold, aqua and magenta foils.

Instead of topping it with a water-based top coat, I used Kokie's top coat (which dries pretty quick).  I wanted to break up the bits of foil a bit so this was the final look.  Foils are so fun and fast!

I hope you like my belated black base design.  I also hope to get back to posting regularly....possibly too regularly since I should probably post reviews in addition to my Digit-al Dozen looks.  Hope you don't get sick of me.  Until then, check out the rest of the black bases below.

'Til next time...
