Moonflower Polish Gemstones Pt. 2 Swatches

Press  Sample

Hey There!  Today I'm having a look at Moonflower Polish's Gemstones Pt 2 collection.  I previously reviewed the first Gemstones collection way back in October (that post can be found here) and loved them so I'm so happy she came out with a new set to expand the color line.  I have found Moonflower's stamping polishes to be spot one, especially when you're looking for something outside of cremes.  She has really mastered the formula for putting enough holo or shimmer in her polishes for the sparkle to show while also having enough color that not everything gets silver-ed out.  I also really like using them as regular polish.  They apply easily and opaquely, perfect for the person on the go.

For all of my photos today, I used 2 coats of each polish as regular polish or stamped over black and white with Bundle Monster/Maniology's BM-XL204 plate and topped with Vibrant Vinyls top coat.  I took the photos in a light box with artificial 5K bulbs but I did take the top off the light box to allow more like it to show the holo.  That being said, the holographic effect would be far more apparent in the sun.  But I swatch at night so that's just not an option for my photos.

Gradient Nail Art

Since Moonflower Polish is always amazing for gradients, I used all 5 of the polishes in a quick gradient over just base coat (no base color) and stamped it with Moonflower Polish Noche.  It's looks like a lovely evening on the lake to me.

If you're looking for holographic stamping polish, this set, as well as the original Gemstones collection is great.  The polishes picked up and stamped without issue and I adore their versatility.  Of these, I think Lapislazuli is my favourite since it's quite a unique color but they're all lovely.
