The Digit-al Dozen does Albums - Kendrick Lamar's Damn

Hey there!  I must apologize for the poor language on today's nails but it just couldn't be helped.  Most of the albums I've done for The Digit-al Dozen's theme this week are older so I wanted to include a more current one.  Lately I mostly listen to hip-hop music (which most people don't expect from me) and I loved Kendrick Lamar's album Damn.  So now I have a curse word on my nails...it just couldn't be helped, haha!

Here's the original album cover.  Clearly I couldn't get Kendrick on my nails so I went with the background instead.  

For the wall, I looked through a ton of polishes and ended up using the one I always use for brick.  Zoya Pepper just the perfect brick red.  Then I sponged on a few other Zoya's (Louise, Flynn, Sooki and Claire) before stamping with UberChic Beauty Texture-licious 2 and Mundo de Unas Caramel.  

For the lettering I used UberChic Beauty Alphabet 01.  Mundo de Unas Reddish is opaque but still not quite opaque enough so I stamped in White first and then Reddish.  

To finish, I used OPI matte top coat and called it a day!

The song I like most off this album is DNA.  1, it's called DNA and I'm a molecular biologist and 2. Don Cheadle is in the video and I adore him.  You can't get better than that!  But I'm sure there's more salty language in there so don't say you weren't warned!
