Here's a look at the original. They're almost the same except the first version was done with a brand that I won't touch my nails with anymore. I don't even want to mention them but you'll likely know why if you check out the blog post...and if you don't, I'd suggest you check out my friend Ashley's post.
I again started with Zoya Dovima, a matte black. This was the hardest part for me. Since the base is a matte polish, I couldn't use a shiny quick dry top coat to speed it up before stamping. And I'm not the most patient person on earth!
The stamping plate I used is Messy Mansion MM27, which has both fire and ice. But I just used the fiery parts.
But this time I used a super duper stamping brand that I have faith will never be shrouded in badness. The polishes used for the stamping were Hit The Bottle As Good As Gold, Drop Red Gorgeous and Calypso Gold. I skipped the top coat to keep this kinda matte. It probably would've looked tidier if I had top coated but I wanted to stick as close to the original as possible.
That's all there was to it so that finishes up my re-creations week. You can find the rest of the ladies' final manis in the links below AND the 26 Great Nail Art Ideas fire and ice manis as well. Have a great weekend!
