The Digit-al Dozen does Tropical - Hibiscus Nails

Hey there!  For Day 3 of The Digit-al Dozen's Tropical Week, I did some hibiscus flower stamping inspired by a couple of manis from one of my favourite nail artists, @ladyandthe_stamp.  She's been doing #hawaiianshirtmanifriday on Instagram lately which means she's had so many great tropical nails.  Mine aren't copies of hers but rather inspired by some of her layered stamping.  They just reminded me of something she'd do (though hers are always incredible compared to mine).

To start, I used my favourite white, KBShimmer Eyes White Open.  Then I stamped the distressed lines with Lina Nail Art Supplies Make Your Mark 02 and Hit The Bottle As Black As Night.

For the flowers, I used Lina Nail Art Supplies Summer 02, first in black and then layered with gradient stamping of Hit The Bottle Psycho Pink, Midnight Pumpkin and Hello Buttercup.

And finally, to finish, I used the Glisten & Glow matte top coat.  Most of Debbie's manis are matte'd so I certainly couldn't skip that step!
