Nail Crazies Unite - Anti-Valentine's Hearts

Hey there!  Since Valentine's Day is coming up but not everyone is necessarily fond of the day, the Nail Crazies Unite theme today is Anti Valentine's Hearts.  I wasn't actually sure how to combine hearts with the "anti" part of the prompt but black splatter always does the trick, right!  Since I've been loving bright colours lately, to stave off the winter dreariness, I did the hearts in a brightly-colored gradient.  It's actually a bit tough to see that they were hearts but they really were.

I really love how fun the Esmaltes da Kelly stamping polish colors are so they're what I used for the hearts here.  I used the white (Dolly) as well for my base color then did gradient stamping with Cleo, Chuvisco, Olivia and Chili with Lina Nail Art Supplies All About Love 01.

The black splatter image (stamped with Mundo de Unas Black) is also from a Lina Nail Art Supplies plate (Make Your Mark 03).  The MYM series is definitely my favourite.  They easily create lovely backgrounds AND foregrounds (like here).  

I've been so tired this week that I haven't blogged at all but I have been wearing some nice Valentine's Day-appropriate nails lately so hopefully I get those blogged before Wednesday!  In the meantime, check out how everyone else did anti-Valentine's in the links below.
