Moonflower Polish Multichrome Stamping Polish Review

Press  Sample

Hey there!  In a couple days Moonflower Polish is going to be releasing an exciting new collection - multichrome stamping polishes!  I've gotten to try out a selection of all of Nadia's stamping polishes over the last 6 months and I have to say, her formula has gotten better and better.  These polishes stamp like a dream, even with a clear stamper and they also apply easily as regular polish as well.  Today I have swatches of them all over white and black (black is where they really shine) and on their own.  I liked them so much I even used all 5 in a stamped gradient that I fell in love with.  These will be available on August 11, 2017 and my lovely readers can use the code COPYCAT10 to save 10% off your order.  Keep reading to see more about this upcoming release.

The multichrome collection has more of a shimmer than a typical multichrome.  You can see, especially in my macro photos, that they have a lovely fleck-y finish.  They're definitely meant to be stamped over black so the color shift can really stand out but I watched them over white as well because some of the colors are really interesting over white (I'm looking at you, Hidden Rose).  They're super pigmented (hence they work so great for stamping).  All the swatch nails here are 1-2 coats.  For all the stamping I used the Born Pretty Geometry BPX-L020 plate and topped with HK girl top coat.

Celest-teal

Celes-teal has a teal-blue-violet shift.  I'm a lover of all things in this color range so it's probably my favourite, especially over black or on its own.  Over white it actually looks a bit grey which I'm not a big fan of but you can still see the color shift which is pretty impressive.

Hidden Rose

Hidden Rose is the most interesting polish in this collection.  Over black it has an olive green-golden look but over white you see the dusty rose base plus all that golden shimmer.  I need to try this one out over other colors to see if you can still see that pink!

Mystique

Mystique is the darkest polish in this collection.  It says it has a blue-purple-red-orange shift but I don't really pick up the red-orange end of things.  It's not the shiftiest of the bunch but it's still pretty.  Check out the macro of this one.  Even though it's a shimmer-y polish, it still picks up all of the skinny lines in this image.

Selene

I noted that Selene is the richest color in this collection.  It's a bright purple with a pink/red shift to it.  This one is another favourite of mine, possibly because it's name is so close to mine, haha!

Sirena

Sirena is a rich emerald green with a teal-gold shift.  I don't see much shift in this one but I can see a lot of the golden shimmer over white.

I also did a bit of nail art using the entire collection.  I started with a black base but I probably could've achieved this same look by just stamping this gradient a couple times.  I used all 5 of the polishes in this collection with the blank image from FUN 24.

I then stamped the gradient with Born Pretty Silver (since Moonflower doesn't have a silver yet) with BP-L020.  The day after I did these I was supposed to be doing some swatching but I just couldn't bring myself to take this off so I wore it for an extra day and put off my swatching.  Hopefully you like it as much as I did.

This collection will be released August 11th, 2017 at 9 am EST.  Stock is limited so jump on them then!  However Nadia has said that if she runs out of stock quickly that she'll convert the listing to a pre-order with a 2 week turn-around-time.  Isn't that nice of her?!  She also has a new US stockist, Lantern and Wren, and will be in Nail Artisan in the UK in September as well so if you're overseas, it might be easier for you to wait.

Below you can find the prices of the new collection but, like I mentioned, you can use the COPYCAT10 coupon code to save yourself 10% when shopping on the Moonflower Polish website.
