Cupcake Polish Color4Nails Exclusives (Enchanted/Whimsy)

Press  Sample

Hey there!  Today I have a couple of swatches of Cupcake Polishes that are exclusive to Color4Nails called Enchanted and Whimsy.   Cupcake Polish is a 3-free indie brand based out of Dallas, Texas.  I was already a fan of Cupcake Polish's colors but, in addition to being beautiful shades to looks at,  these two seem to have an even better formula than I'm used to from them which is a nice bonus.  Before I get to all the details, it is important to note that both of these shades are a one-time run which means they won't be restocked so, if you're interested, get them before they're gone.

The formula on both of these was superb - creamy and smooth.  I'm showing two coats of each with HK Girl top coat (though they both dried smooth so top coat wasn't a requirement).  The first two photos are taken in a light box and the third is in direct light with sunlight bulbs to try to capture the holo effect.

"Emerald base color with pink and blue shimmers and holographic effect."

The blue shimmer is stronger than the pink in Enchanted.  The holo in this green is super strong but you can see the blue flecks in the macro shot.  You can see the pink shimmer at the edges of the bottles but I failed to really pick it up on the nail.

"Lilac base color with gold and purple shimmers and holographic effect."

I think of lilac as a more purple color whereas Whimsy lays right in between pink and purple to my eyes, maybe because of the strong purple shimmer.  No matter what color you describe it as, it's a gorgeous shade and oh-so-sparkly!

As I mentioned at the beginning, these exclusives won't be restocked but they are both currently available on the Color4Nails website so get them while they last.

'Til next time...
