Sunday Stamping - Inspired by fabric

Hey there!  First of all I want to thank anyone who has been involved with the Facebook Share the Love movement.  It was started by Maria at NailNation3000 in celebration for her hitting 100K Likes.  She's having a huge giveaway and started sharing bloggers/indie brand's Facebook pages.  Others followed suit and many nail polish pages are getting lots of love.  Personally mine has grown by over 7000 likes which is so freaking crazy to me!  Honestly I started this blog 4 months ago because I truly love nail polish/nail art, not for popularity but, I'm not going to lie, it feels really nice to see people interested in what I have to show and it couldn't have come at a better time.  My personal life kind of went in the toilet this weekend so all the new love did a lot of lighten my mood.

Now onto Adventures in Stamping's Sunday challenge.  For those of you who don't know, there's a Facebook group dedicated to stamping that announces a new theme each Wednesday with the manicures to be posted on Sunday.  This week's theme was "inspired by fabric".  So I looked around my place and realized that I'm so not fashionable and the only patterns I have are all stripes.  But that's a little boring so I dug this dress out of my closet and found a stamp that best matched it.

I started with 2 coats of A England Fonteyn from the new Ballerina collection.  It's a light silver-leaning lilac with A England's classic holographic finish and amazing formula.  It's more purple than my dress is but I didn't want to use a plain grey.

Then I added this image from Konad M89 using Wet n Wild Black Creme.  I have to say this really is a good alternative to Konad Black.  It doesn't stamp quite as dark but it's so much easier to clean up!

And finally, because my dress has a black belt piece in it I added some french tips in Konad Black using M19.  I could never get these tips to work before I got the squishy stamper so if you're having issues with them, try the squishy if you have one!

That's all for now.  If you're reading this from Facebook, thank you again :-)

'Til next time...
