40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Music

Press  Sample

Hey there!  For the second time in a row, I'm late for my 40 Great Nail Art Ideas post.  I don't know what's up with me lately with getting posts written.  The nails are done, the photos are cropped, I just can't find the words to describe them I guess.  But, better late than never, here is my mani for this week's music theme.  Originally I had done a goofy one for a song I don't love but that is crazy catchy but changed my mind about it (though I'll still post it on my Instagram later today) and decided to use another one of the new Clear Jelly Stamper layered stamping plates instead.  After all, it is the Music and Notes plate and it was sitting in front of me waiting to be used.  It was pretty much fate.  AND it allowed me to do a song that I enjoy much more.

Hey there!  As I mentioned last week, I was recently sent the latest Clear Jelly Stamper layered stamping plates to test out.  Today I have a mani I did with CJS09, also known as the Under The Sea plate.  I always love underwater scenes on my nails and this plate made it super easy.  Keep reading to hear all about it.

Delush Polish High and Mightea Swatches and Stamping

Press  Sample

Hey there!  Recently I was sent a few polishes from Delush Polish's latest release to review.  To quote Delush Polish, the  High and Mightea collection is "inspired by the quintessential British tradition of high tea, our collection invites you to indulge in our guilt free menu of whimsical color combinations and delicious bakery infused scented cuticle oils. Prepare to be transported to a London tea room where your senses will savor the rich and flavorsome long time tradition."  I think this is such a cute theme for a collection and her polishes (and, especially the names) really embody the spirit of a fun yet classy tea time.

I also received the newest stamping plate from Delush Polish, also named High & Mightea, that I did four easy stamping manis with.  Keep reading to find all the details.

The Digit-al Dozen does Whimsy/40 Great Nail Art Ideas does Neon

Hey there!  Today's post is a triple (almost quadruple) theme combo - these are always nice and challenging.  If you've been following along this week, you'll know that The Digit-al Dozen's theme all week has been Whimsy.  There's been a long running suggestion (longer than I've been around) in the group of doing a unicorn silhouette week that sounds like it came from a reader suggestion.  A lot of us have jumped on that idea because there's been quite a few unicorns flying about this week.  So that's the first 1.5 themes.  For the other two, we have the neon theme from 40 Great Nail Art Ideas where I had the personal prompt of splatter.  So I've combined the whole bunch and did this neon unicorn stamping with splatter accents.  AND it works extra well because I used pipe dream polish ANIVC and there's always been a lot of unicorn chatter in the pipe dream polish Facebook group.  Maybe one of you can help me with how that started...

The Digit-al Dozen does Whimsy - Cute CJS-10 Caterpillar

Press  Sample

Hey there!  For today's Digit-al Dozen Whimsy design, I have a last minute addition to the line up.  I'll include a photo of my original mani at the end but I wasn't really happy with it since I've been failing at painting stamping decals lately.  Luckily I was just sent some of the newest Clear Jelly Stamper layered stamping plates to review and they're designed to look like decals without relying on me being able to paint within the lines.  A couple of these plates are adorable so I was torn between which one to use for a Whimsy mani.  I opted to use CJS-10, called Baby Bugs & Bees...even the name is cute!  I'm not sure cute is enough to be considered whimsical but, come on, that caterpillar has a face...that screams whimsy, right?

The Digit-al Dozen does Whimsy: Fairy Nail Stamping

Hey there!  To continue with my interpretation of our Digit-al Dozen Whimsy theme, I have another mythical creature. Fairies are mighty whimsical, in my opinion, so they were on my list of things to do for this week from the beginning.  A couple of my DD friends have already done some ridiculously beautiful...and I do mean BEAUTIFUL fairy manis that I encourage you to check out.  Cathy's are here and Cheyenne's are here and they both are breathtaking.  I thought my shiny base was pretty but it pales in comparison.  Luckily nail art isn't a competition so I'm not embarrassed to post these fairies on my attempt at an opal base.
