Nail Crazies Unite - Holiday Food & Drink

Hey there!  I'll try to not make this the most whiney blog post in the history of mankind but it should have been done on Friday.  But Friday was my birthday (the big 4-0, I can't believe I'm admitting that to the whole internet) so I left work a bit early to celebrate with a few drinks (maybe more than a "few") instead of finishing my blog.  I had been sick all of last week with a cold/cough which I fought through since Thursday and Friday were going to be busy work days.  And I did it!  And I had a great birthday evening.  But by Saturday I seemed to have come down something of a stomach flu so I'm running at about 45% right now.  I couldn't even stomach the lovely birthday dinner I had with my family last night.  Because of the combination of celebration and illness, I'm days behind on getting this post up.  Friday's Nail Crazies Unite prompt was Holiday Food & Drink and I did one of my favourites...apple pie!  Yum!!

Autumn Dotticure Nails

Hey there!  I hope everyone had a spectacular weekend and enjoyed time change day (my personal favourite day of the year even though I know not everywhere gets to change their clocks).  I think I stayed up until about 4 am doing my nails and binge watching TV which, with the clock change, was only 3 am which is a far more reasonable time to go to bed, haha!  I got to play with a couple UberChic plates and some Madam Glam polishes so you can expect to see the results of my insomnia sometime this week hopefully.  But for today, I have a fall manicure, once again using the Girly Bits Fall Cremes from last year.  I've used these a ton this year.  She released a new set on Friday at 10 am and my checkout receipt for the whole set came through by 10:01 am...needless to say, I love Pam's cremes since she's formulated them to be wonderful for nail art.  I can't wait to see them in person!  Anyway, here's a dotticure twist on a fall leaves mani...

The Digit-al Dozen does Recreating Your First Blog Posts - Night Sky Nails

Hey there!  It's time for a brand new Digit-al Dozen week.  September marks the 6th anniversary of the beginning of The Digit-al Dozen's creation (though none of us current members are original) so it's sort of fitting that this month we're going back in time and recreating our first blog posts.  I went back through my first 6 months (give or take) of blog posts and found some that I wanted to re-do.  I like to think my photos are a little better now but I still do like my original manis.  Actually I like some of the originals better than my recreations.  Today I wanted to redo a night sky gradient that I did almost 5 years ago when I noticed how short our days had become.  I'm noticing that already this year even though it's only September.  It's amazing how quickly our seasons change here...we might even get snow this week!
