Hey there! For the fifth and final Throwback of the Digit-al Dozen theme this week, I've thrown back to one of our old themes. I went back through all the themes we've had since I joined in January 2015 and decided I wanted to tackle Geometric again. It's a prompt I often have issues with. But this time I had some Stained Glass Stencils from Whats Up Nails which made it much more bearable!

Cici & Sisi Acrylic Stamping Plate Review
Press Sample
Hey there! Today I have four of Cici & Sisi's acrylic stamping plates to review for you guys. These plates work just like regular metal stamping plates but they're lighter, thicker and won't ever cut you like some metal plates do. My first Cici & Sisi plates were way back when, with the first two sets of stainless steel plates and I still use them to this day. These days it seems like they're focusing more on their acrylic plates with groups of four plates within a series. Today I have a sampling of three of the series, Nature, Fairytale and the Blue and White series. I did a couple manis with each of the plates so this post might get a bit long. So buckle up!

UberChic Beauty Vacation Mode, Garden Love, Fourth of July and Mini Plate Folder
Press Sample
Hey there! Today might be the most summer-y post I've had this year. UberChic Beauty recently came out with 3 new plates, Vacation Mode, Garden Love and Fourth of July, that are full of images that remind me of summer with UberChic's impeccable quality. I adore all the plates. I might not be a gardener or an American but I can still see myself using a bunch of the images on these plates so they're certainly not limited to those that identify as such. And who doesn't love being in vacation mode? I can't wait until I take a few weeks at the lake this summer. UberChic also came out with a holder for her mini plates and I have a couple photos of that to show you too. Keep reading for all the details.

UberChic Beauty Collection 17 Review
Press Sample
Hey there! Last week I showed you a few things I did with UberChic Beauty's 16th collection of stamping plates and today I have Collection 17. I've been a fan of UberChic from the beginning. This collection certainly doesn't do anything to dissuade me. It keeps up with Brittany's style and creativity which I love. I wore these looks last week and really enjoyed them. Some of them were simple but still lovely - gotta love something that's quick but still looks good, amirite or what?!

Whats Up Nails Floral Designs
Press Sample
Hey there! Since spring is finally in full swing around these parts, I figured today would be a great day to post some floral nail designs I've worn recently, all with the help of more Whats Up Nails products. I've had a few reviews for them lately and I truly have nothing but good things to say about them. An easy to use website, great communication and, most importantly, quality product. I was originally contacted to try out a few of their stamping plates. Last week I showed how I used their water marble plate (you can see that here) and today I have two new floral plates, A005 and B018. But while I was posting flowers, I thought I'd also show a couple of flower stencils that they have, the Hibiscus and Bloom Stencils.

Creative Shop Stamping Plate 42 Review
Press Sample
Hey there! Today I'm sharing one of the newer plates from Creative Shop Stamping, Creative Shop 42. I've reviewed Oksana's stamping plates before and really liked them so I obviously agreed to try out one of her new ones too. As you can see, I must have liked this plate because I used it in four separate designs. I never do that many manis with a single plate! Keep reading to see all the images from the plate and get the low down on what I used here, as well as my review of the plate quality.

The Digit-al Dozen does Black - Black French Tip
Hey there! When I was trying to think of black nail art ideas for The Digit-al Dozen's Black week, I came across an awesome Instagram account, @only_black_nails. It's a ton of sophisticated and edgy nail art posted on the page, some simple and some with plenty of embellishment. I was inspired by this page to do a french manicure with some Swarovski crystals. I thought it was a classy way to use my all time favourite black polish, A England Camelot.

26 Great Nail Art Ideas - Red and Pink
Hey there! This week's Crumpet's Nail Tart's theme is Red and Pink. I wasn't quite ready for Valentine's Day nails when I did these but I really struggled to think of something that wasn't pure V-Day, especially since I'm pretty prone to do hearts and flowers manis. I thought by using a black base I could avoid any seasonal feel but, nope, I think all red and pink nails will always look like Valentine's Day, no matter what.

The Digit-al Dozen does Vampy: Red and Black Drip Marble
Hey there! For the final day of Vampy week (my personal favourite Digit-al Dozen week in a long time though I know some of my cohorts have hated it), I have a decided I hemmed and hawed over including. I love the idea of it but didn't fully love the outcome mostly because, as I said yesterday, dark colors and my cuticles are mortal enemies. In the end, I'm including this red, black and gold drip marble because I love the polishes I used and it'd be a shame to have used all those beauties and not share the result.

UberChic Beauty Collection 10 Review
Press Sample
Hey there! Second vacation post in a row, woohoo! I guess after I get a few hours of pure Alberta sun, I'm worn out and need some inside time. At least this time I've been keeping up with my sunblock so I'm not a toasted tomato! Now that I'm chilling indoors, it's time to post this review of UberChic Beauty's Collection 10. As usual UberChic Beauty has brought us a fun collection with all sorts of images. Her collections never stick with a certain theme which is exactly why I like them. I never know exactly what I want to put on my nails so, when starting a new mani, I do gravitate towards flipping through UberChic's collections for inspiration.

UberChic Beauty Collection 8 and Mini Uber Mats
Press Sample
Hey there! I have a big post today (like, really big) but one that I'm quite proud of so I hope you stick around. When I met Brittany from UberChic Beauty last month, she brought along her newest plates and the new mini Uber Mat's for me to try when I got home. I had to wait until they were officially released, which they were just over a week ago, so I can finally post all the nails I've done with the newest collection, Collection 8. I also used both the white and the black mini mats here so keep reading to hear about how much I love them.

Clear Jelly Stamper Crystal Clear Stamper and CJS Stamping Plate Review
Press Sample
Hey there! As I'm sure all of you are aware of, clear stampers are here and they have revolutionized the stamping game. I believe the Canadian company, Clear Jelly Stamper, was the first to bring these stampers to market and thank goodness she did. I purchased her original stamper and loved how easy it made stamp placement. However the original stamper was quite firm so she now has a new softer Crystal Clear stamper available and it is AWESOME! A few weeks ago I couldn't resist raving about it in a Sunday stamping challenge post so now I'm finally giving it a more thorough review along with four of the CJS stamping plates. These plates are mostly made for the layered type of stamping (stamping one image on top of another to create a decal-style image without the fuss) or centered stamping that are now possible thanks to actually being able to see how to place images.

The Digit-al Dozen does Nail Hereos - @kimiko7878
Hey there! It's time for Day 3 of The Digit-al Dozen's Nail Heroes week. For today I did a mani inspired by the first nail hero of mine that I was able to meet, @kimiko7878 on Instagram. Kim is not only a hand painting nail art queen but she lives in my city! I met her when she picked up some polishes in town that I was hunting for and couldn't find and she is seriously as sweet as can be. I've tried mimicking her skills before but failed miserably. I'm happy with how these turned out though!

The Digit-al Dozen does Nail Heroes - The Crumpet
Hey there! It's a new Digit-al Dozen week! With Valentine's Day being just yesterday, this week we're giving our nail heroes some love. For me that means I'll be focusing on bloggers/Instagrammers/brands that I love and who always inspire. And it means I get to copycat lots of manis which I love doing (hence my blog name). As a group, we're starting with our friend and fearless DD leader, who just happens to be one of my biggest nail heroes - the always amazing Debbie from The Crumpet! Debbie never ceases to amaze me with, not just her nail art, but who she is as a person. Debbie recently announced her transition into nail blog retirement which breaks my heart but luckily we'll be able to keep up with her new blog, Debhoorah. I've never met her in real life but I truly consider Debbie a friend, a mentor and a hero. She is responsible for starting almost all of the groups I'm in (seriously, who has that much energy?) and these groups give me so many happy feelings. Because of them I've been introduced to the loveliest of ladies (I'm looking at you Digit-al Dozen girls) and for that I'll be forever grateful to Debbie. So thank you for everythingDebbie! Love you!

HPB Presents Monochromatic Blobbicure
Hey there! It's time for another Hobby Polish Bloggers link up. Hobby Polish Bloggers is a great group of folks who love blogging about nail polish. Each month we have the option of posting manis with a specific theme, which is always really fun for me. For November we're bringing you monochromatic manis - monochromatic, in this case, can mean various hues of the same color or the classic monochromatic black and white. I tried one of each but this A England blobbicure, all in shades of purple, turned out better so this is the one that I've decided to share today.

UberChic Beauty Christmas Plate Review
Press Sample
Hey there! Okay I don't try to hide my love of UberChic Beauty's products and I'm lucky enough to be able to review her products sometimes, including her first Christmas plate that I'm sharing here today. I know it's not quite Thanksgiving for those of you in the US but, here in Canada, we celebrate Thanksgiving in October so I can totally rock the holiday manis already. I must not be alone because this plate has already proven very popular! I've done three manis with it that I'm posting today (and plan on doing another one tonight). This plate is going to be high rotation for me for the next month, that's for sure. Keep reading to find out all the details.

UberChic Beauty 6-02 Stamping Plate Review
Press Sample
Hey there! Today I'm continuing my review of UberChic Beauty's newest collection of stamping plates. Collection 6 came out just over a week ago and, as I said yesterday, it could be my favourite collection to date. The designs are lovely and, as always, the quality is top notch. I've done two designs with plate 6-02 to share today. All the details are below.

Sunday Stamping - Snow & Ice
Hey there! This week for the Adventures in Stamping we were given the option of two themes - Snow & Ice and Remembrance Day. I did mani's for both themes this weekend but I think I'll save the Remembrance Day one to post on Wednesday. So for today I have these snow & ice nails that I wore today. As it turns out, these were very appropriate today since we ended up while a whole lot of snow...and rain (which hopefully doesn't turn to ice tonight).

A England To Emily Bronte Collection Swatches and Review
Nothing to Disclose
Hey there! It's not secret that I love A England polishes. Now anytime Adina releases a new collection, I don't even pretend to not need the entire thing. As soon as Nail Polish Canada got them in I ordered them all up. I received them yesterday and figured I'd swatch them all right away since I haven't seen too many posts about them yet and thought some of you might like to see them.
This collection is called "To Emily Bronte" - a love letter to a classic English author and poet. I was never one for the classics when I was in English class back in the day so I can't comment on the names of these polishes and how they fit with the book. I remember having a write an essay on Withering Heights and I did it with only reading the Cole Notes and paying attention in class...luckily I like the polishes more than the book!

Purple Waterfall Nails
Hey there! It's the second last post of the Crumpet's Nail Tart's 52 Week Pick n Mix Challenge. This week's prompts were Violet and Waterfall. I believe waterfall manis were the creation of the always amazing Nailasaurus. I've only tried the waterfall mani once before so I still don't have it down pat but I do think it's a great look.
