The Digit-al Dozen does Cocktails: Bomb Pop Drink

Hey there!  Today brings us to the last day of The Digit-al Dozen's Cocktails week.  For today's nails, I did a mani based on a drink I'm 99% sure I've seen on the menu at Boston Pizza but I might have made that up (I've been known to do that before).  But when I googled I was assured it was a real thing...and learned that these are apparently called "bomb pops".  My dad eats these popsicles A LOT but we always just call them "3 color popsicles".  They fit in perfectly with the trend I've followed this week of doing layered drinks as an excuse to do some fun gradients.

So here you go with a fun drink idea, especially for summer!  And the recipe...

I did manage to successfully only use Hit The Bottle polishes for this week's mani.  For these I did a gradient of A Vermillion To One, Snowed In and Smurf Blood.  A Versmillion To One did bleed over the white when I added top coat but I'm not mad at it.  I actually kinda like how it toned down the gradient a bit.

The little reverse stamping accents were images from UberChic Beauty 9-01 (popsicle) and Bottoms Up (drink), stamped with As Black As Night and filled with the same polishes mentioned above.  I finished with Vibrant Vinyls top coat.

And that brings us to the end of this month's Digit-al Dozen week.  As I mentioned earlier, we are looking for new members so if you're a blogger who is interested, shot me a message.

'Til next time...
