2019 Summer/Autumn UberChic Beauty Releases

Press  Sample

Hey there!  In my blogger-slackness I have a big backlog of UberChic Beauty releases that I haven't posted which has included tons of new stamping plates, a couple of gorgeous polishes and some nail care items.  I feel terrible that I haven't gotten these up until now.  Once I'm a bit behind I fall WAY behind and that's where I am now.  However I'm excited that I'm finally sharing them since all the items are the usual amazing quality I've come to expect from Brittany.  I even have a few more at home so you can expect some of the really new releases to be found here soon!  But in the meantime, buckle in for a ton of nail goodness!

I'm going to start with UberChic's first foray into regular polish.  She's already come out with some beautiful gel polishes but not all of us are gel users so she's come out with a line of 7-free, cruelty-free holographic polishes, starting with two that are Halloween-themed.  They also comes with holographic boxes with cute cutouts for those of you who store your polish in their boxes.

sold out

Electric Pumpkin has an orange base with a strong pink shimmer (which gives is a bright coral finished appearance) and holo glitter.  It applies easily though the formula was just a tad thick (maybe from the amount of shimmer which I find happens sometimes).  Alone is dries to a slightly sating finish so glossy top coat is required for full shine.  This is two coats plus a coat of Seche Vite.

currently $8 USD

Ghouls Just Wanna Have Fun is a purple polish with tons of holographic glitter and pink shimmer. I found its formula to also be a little thick but it still applied well.  This is two coats plus Seche Vite top coat.

Now for the plates.  There's both regular sized (9.5 x 14.5 cm) and mini (6 x 12 cm) plates here.  But in both cases the full nail images are always 17 x 21 mm plus an assortment of smaller images.  I didn't have any issues with any of these plates so I highly recommend them for their quality.

And finally, a couple of nail care items: a brand new cuticle oil and a latex-free cuticle barrier:

$10 USD
18 mL

The Luxe Cuticle Oil contains jojoba oil and vitamins E and B and really does seem to be less greasy than other oils.  It absorbs within a couple of minutes.  The description says it's lightly floral-scented and I'd agree.  It's definitely not overwhelmingly scented so I think it'd work for people with scent-sensitivities (though I'm not personally sensitive so I can't say for sure).  I can say I've had this out on my nail table (i.e. my coffee table) and it's been a go-to since I received it.

$7.99 USD
18 mL

A nail art barrier is a blessing for those of us who love stamping, gradients and other nail art.  Most contain latex which doesn't work for anyone with latex allergies.  As with other latex-free barriers, it's not as stretchy or sticky as the ones containing latex so it's a bit tougher to peel but I've found using two thin coats of it around the cuticle works great.  This has also become a staple on my table.  I thought I'd go back to my latex barriers but I've been using this one consistently for all my stamping and gradients since I received in (including the ones from the fall release in this post).

Wow, that was a long one.  In case I didn't put enough detail here, feel free to comment or send me a message and I will happily explain anything that I missed.  Overall, I'm always happy with UberChic's products and continue to recommend them.  I received some new winter items yesterday and I can't wait to try them out.  I foresee a new sparkly mani going on tonight...

'Til next time...
