Whats Up Nails Canadian Flag Stencils Giveaway from Nail Polish Canada

Press  Sample

Hey there!  I have such a fun post today!  Nail Polish Canada (the first online nail polish stockist I ever discovered and still one of my faves) has decided to celebrate the upcoming Canada Day by giving away a set of these Whats Up Nails Canadian Flag stencils to 10 of my readers.  The first ten people to follow this link to the NPC site and use the code BC5H85E1S will get their very own set for free.  And, if you've read any of my previous reviews of Whats Up Nails stencils you'll know that these stencils are always incredible.  You'd probably expect a red and white mani with these (and I have indeed used these stencils before with just that) but since Canada is more than red or white, I decided to use the entire rainbow of colors since that is what Canada is to me.  We won't be kept to use two colors...we need them all!

These stencils come in 5 sizes so there's some to fit almost everyone's nails.  They peel off easily and the unique shape of the stencil makes it really easy to center them on the nail.  That's really handy.

To use them, I wanted to stick with a Canadian brand so I used the Girly Bits Sequins and Satin Pants collection from last summer to create my rainbow, inspired by another Canadian blogger, Cosmetic Proof.

Over a white base with a quick dry top coat (because I'm impatient) I applied the stencils and used Stayin’ Alive, Le Freak, The Hustle, Jive Talkin’, Funky Town and Hot Stuff (I skipped Brick House in this mani) and then finished with Glisten & Glow top coat.

I hope you like my take on a traditional Canada Day mani.  I'm sure I'll be using my leftovers in a new mani on July 1st!  I hope you get a free set of your own using the code BC5H85E1S so you can make your own Canadian nail art!

'Til next time...
